General
A roll-off dumpster is a big, rectangular container often used on construction sites or during home projects. A regular dumpster, like a front-load dumpster, is smaller and square-shaped. You’ll usually see these behind restaurants or stores for regular trash pickup. Our roll-off dumpsters are designed to handle a wide range of non-hazardous waste materials commonly generated during construction, renovation, cleaning, and other projects. This includes household junk, construction debris, furniture, appliances, yard waste, concrete, roofing materials, and more. However, it’s essential to note that hazardous materials, such as chemicals, paints, solvents, and asbestos, are strictly prohibited from being disposed of in our dumpsters due to environmental and safety concerns. We are committed to responsible waste disposal and can provide guidance on the proper disposal of hazardous materials. Loading the dumpster the right way is important to keep it safe during transport and to use all the space inside efficiently. Make sure to spread out the materials evenly so the weight isn’t lopsided, which could cause problems when moving it. Don’t overfill the dumpster—nothing should stick out above the top. This keeps it safe to move and follows the rules. If you’re not sure how to load it or want tips to fit everything in, contact our team, and we’ll help you out! A ton is a unit of weight used to measure heavy materials. In the U.S., a ton (also called a short ton) equals 2,000 pounds. It’s often used when talking about the weight of debris, construction materials, or waste in dumpsters.
You’d rent a roll-off dumpster if you’re tackling a big project like a home renovation, construction job, or major cleanup. It’s great for getting rid of large amounts of waste, bulky items, or debris that won’t fit in your regular trash bins. You can usually throw different types of non-hazardous waste into one dumpster, which makes cleanup easier. But there might be some rules depending on where you live and the type of waste. For example, some places might require you to separate recyclables from other trash. To make sure you’re following the rules, check with our team for guidelines based on your location and project. Yes, you can certainly rent multiple dumpsters for a single project if the volume of waste generated exceeds the capacity of a single container or if you need to segregate different types of materials. Renting multiple dumpsters allows you to efficiently manage waste on a larger scale and tailor your waste disposal solution to the specific needs of your project. Our team can assist you in determining the appropriate number and sizes of dumpsters required for your project and ensure that they are delivered and picked up as needed. Renting a roll-off dumpster is simple. First, you choose the right size for your project. Then, the dumpster is delivered to your location and placed where you need it. You fill it up with your waste or debris, making sure not to overfill it. Once you’re done, call us, and we’ll pick it up and haul everything away. It’s that easy!
Pricing
The cost of renting a dumpster is influenced by several factors, including your location, the size of the dumpster, the type and weight of debris, and the rental period. For example, disposal fees, demand, and fuel costs can vary from city to city, affecting the overall price. To prevent extra charges, make sure you do not exceed the weight limit specified in your rental agreement and avoid disposing of prohibited items. It’s also important to stay within the agreed-upon rental period.  And make sure to give us a call when you are done because we do not automatically pick up the dumpster. You’ll pay for your dumpster rental when you place your order. However, if any extra fees come up during your rental, you might see those charges up to 120 days after your project is finished. This gives us time to gather all the details from the landfill and our driver before applying any additional charges. If extra fees are needed, we’ll let you know right away. The good news is that you can usually avoid extra fees by being careful with your cleanup and following the rental guidelines.
While our goal is to provide transparent flat-rate pricing, additional fees can occur in certain situations. For example, exceeding the specified weight limit of the dumpster or requiring an extended rental period beyond the original terms may result in extra charges. Yes, your location can significantly impact the cost of renting a dumpster. Factors such as local disposal fees, demand, and fuel costs can cause prices to vary between different cities and regions. For instance, renting a dumpster in a small town may be more economical than in a major metropolitan area. We accept all major credit and debit cards but do not take cash. A card must be kept on file in case there are any additional charges at the end of your rental.
Sizes
Our dumpsters come in sizes ranging from 10 to 40 cubic yards, though availability may vary by location. Our team is ready to help you choose the perfect size for your needs. The right size depends on your project and the type of debris. A 10-yard dumpster is great for small cleanouts, while a 20-yard works for medium projects like remodeling. For larger jobs, like construction or major renovations, you may need a 30-yard or 40-yard dumpster. The 20-yard roll-off dumpster is the most popular size because it works for many projects. It’s large enough for home cleanouts, small construction jobs, and remodeling projects, but still compact enough to fit in most driveways. This makes it a versatile and convenient choice for many customers.
A cubic yard is a unit of measurement for volume. It’s the amount of space inside a cube that is 3 feet long, 3 feet wide, and 3 feet tall. In dumpster rentals, it helps measure how much debris or waste the container can hold. For example, a 10-cubic-yard dumpster can hold about 10 cubic yards of material. Yes, every dumpster rental has a weight limit based on its size and the type of debris you’re disposing of. For example, a 10-yard dumpster may have a limit of 2 tons, while a 40-yard dumpster might hold up to 8 tons. If you go over the weight limit, additional fees may apply. To avoid extra costs, make sure to check the weight limit when booking your dumpster and estimate your debris accordingly. The dumpster will be weighed at the landfill. Our truck is weighed both when it enters and leaves the landfill. The landfill will give us a scale ticket, which we can provide upon request. The difference in weight shows how much the container weighed. As long as the weight stays within the terms of your rental, there will be no extra charges. If the dumpster is overweight, we’ll bill you based on a per-ton rate.

Generally, it takes less than 15 minutes for our drivers to drop your dumpster. Our drivers take care to avoid damaging the surface where the dumpster is placed. We’ll handle the rest! Typically, dumpster permits are necessary only when placing your roll-off dumpster on a street, sidewalk, or any public area. If you choose to place it in your driveway or a privately owned space, a street permit is usually not required.  If you have specific placement requirements be sure to discuss them with your representative. Before we arrive, make sure the area where you want the dumpster placed is flat, accessible, and clear. We need about 10 feet of width and 25 feet of depth. Additionally, ensure there is 14-18 feet of vertical clearance. We can’t guarantee a specific delivery time due to the nature of our business. Deliveries are made between 7 am and 5 pm. Our trucks are scheduled each morning, but if you’d like, you can call us on the day of delivery, and we’ll try to provide a delivery window. For this reason, we always recommend scheduling your delivery a day before you plan to start your project.

No, unless you schedule an automatic removal with us at the beginning of your rental period we will not pick it up until you call and request removal. Yes, we recommend covering your dumpster with a tarp and securing it with bungee cords if rain or snow is expected. This helps prevent water from collecting inside and adding extra weight. While the dumpster has drainage holes, materials can still absorb water, which could lead to unnecessary overage charges.
Pickup
To schedule a pickup, just give us a call and we will handle the rest.  It generally takes 24-48 hours for us to remove the container but don’t worry you won’t be charged anything additional once the pickup is scheduled. If the truck can’t access the dumpster due to obstructions like parked cars or debris, the pickup may be delayed, and you could be charged a trip fee. Make sure the path is clear to avoid extra costs. If the dumpster is overloaded or materials are sticking out, we may not be able to pick it up for safety reasons. You’ll need to remove the excess debris and a trip fee will be charged.
No, you don’t need to be home during pickup. Just ensure the area around the dumpster is clear and accessible, and we’ll take it from there. Before pickup, ensure the dumpster is not overloaded, and no items are sticking out beyond the sides or top. Clear any obstructions around the dumpster to make it easy for our truck to remove it. Instead of scheduling a final pickup, we can replace your dumpster with a new one. The cost will be the same as your initial rental, and your rental period will restart.
