You do not have to toss those paper rolls away anymore. Save them for afternoon crafts with the kids. Make them put down those electronics and have their creative juices flowing. There is an abundance of toilet paper rolls if you collect them all. There are plenty of creative crafts you can make and you are also recycling.
Paper roll fish
What you need:
- Toilet paper rolls
- Paint
- Googly eyes
- Scissors
- Permanent marker
- Glue
Steps:
- First, flatten the cardboard tube
- Cut a rounded end for the head of the fish
- Next, cut two slits at 45 degrees on the other side for the tail
- Paint your design for the fish
- Finally, glue the eyes to both sides of the roll and draw a mouth

Fairy Houses
What you need:
- Paper rolls
- Ruler
- Paint
- Craft knife
- Markers
- Pencil
- Glue
- Brushes
- Tea light candles
Steps:
- First, draw the windows with the marker on the paper roll
- Take the craft knife and cut the outline of your windows out
- Then, paint your rolls any color you desire
- Draw a circle on a piece of paper and cut it out
- Divide the circle into 3 parts
- Cut the 3 parts and roll them into a small cone, roof created!
- Next, paint the roofs bright colors
- Glue the roof on top of your fairy home
- Lastly, paint any design you want onto your homes

Cat in the Hat
What you need:
- Paper rolls
- Red paper
- White paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Stick
Steps:
- First, cut out strips of white and red paper and make stripes
- Next, cut out a circle and glue it to the bottom on the paper roll
- Then, cut out another circle, larger that the paper roll and glue it to the other side of the hat
- Glue the red and white stripes around the paper roll
- Take the long stick and stick it through the hat
